Bringing out the hidden talent in YOU and make it stand out.

Many a time, we think of our outward self without releasing something in us, which we have passion for but only do them in hiding. Having no confidence in discovering who you are on the inside and how to develop it. We all have talents that are dormant in us, waiting to be identified and put into action by us.

Talent is the rate at which we get better with our efforts. For something to become a talent, it needs to be identified, and efforts put to actualise it. For example, if you are good at sewing clothes, you can start little, create designs, keep practicing, and also advertise your product. With time, you will develop talent in sewing because you have put in lots of effort.

“You are unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don’t have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most importantly, you should always remind yourself that you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given.”- Roy T. Bennett

Here are a few tips: –

Bringing out the inner you. You are unique and special in your own way. The first thing to understand or ask yourself, “what makes me unique”? You can start by writing down your interest. Something that you have a passion doing and you feel happy doing them if taken into actions, can take you places.

Find out where you are today. Once you have put together, all your interests that can be productive. Find out if the talent can bring out the inner you. We have different skills but never put them to use. We go about looking for white-collar jobs. I am not saying, white-collar jobs are not good, but we should not only depend on it. Turn your talent into creativity, and people will like to associate with you. Those who made it in life discovered their potentials, put it into practice, and became a talent.

Where can your talent lead you to? With your list, you will be able to clearly see how to put to use your god’s given ability. If you love cooking or baking, you can start thinking of perfecting it as a part-time job, start cooking, have a brand name. Package your product and advertise your products.

If you are creative, you can revamp old shoes and bags into customised handbags, package them, and promote on social media. People who are interested in customising their bags to match their outfit will come to you. “Start first, don’t hide your talent, make use of it in your own little way, and your voice will be heard.”

Think positively. Reflect on your thoughts, clear your mind. Meditation helps us to clear our minds, concentrate on the positive things, discover ourselves, and make decisions on who you are and not who you could be. No matter how, think, plan, and take actions. If you have great humour, make use of it, people are longing to laugh.

Appreciate the little you have, and make it big through your hard work. Even when you fail, raise and keep pushing, never give up! Those billionaires started little, kept expanding your ideas and thoughts. Make use of your talent today, and see where it takes you in the future.

“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you can imagine.” – Roy T. Bennett.
